In 2009, The Hockey News' 10th Annual edition of The 100 People of Power and Influence, Sheehy Hockey, LLC client Jeff Finger was listed as #97. The magazine stated:
"Finger, 29, saw his salary increase 737 percent thanks to a four-year, $14-million contract. The late-blooming minor league journeyman's deal will have a league-wide impact, especially in arbitration. Agents will use it as a financial measuring stick for defensemen: 'If Finger got $3.5 million, my guy is worth...'"
